Should we feel extra cheerful about Las Vegas and Atlantic City now that Donald Trump is U.S. President?

Is capitalism really about empathy for gamblers?

Does President Trump make us want to pity people suffering from gambling problems?

This mock-metaphysics exchange between God and Satan was inspired by Back to the Future Part III.

GOD: Trump makes me feel good about Wall Street.
SATAN: He makes many Americans feel awful about Niagara Falls.
GOD: Ha, that's because he's been neglecting the EPA.
SATAN: He doesn't really have a rounded energy policy.
GOD: No, and he's sceptical about global warming complaints.
SATAN: What if Trump went back in time and played poker with cowboys?
GOD: From the Old West (in some Texas saloon)?
SATAN: Yes! Would he return to modern America with a fresher perspective?
GOD: I don't think he'd be any extra empathetic about gamblers.
SATAN: He can afford to frown upon gamblers now that he's a success...
GOD: Gamblers deserve pity, since they know they might lose (everything).
SATAN: Yes, but some should not gamble when they do or stake what they do.
GOD: It's a very difficult morality problem, especially for TrumpUSA.
SATAN: Why?
GOD: TrumpUSA is the modernism symbol of capitalism-based pride.
SATAN: Maybe we need gambler's ghost-stories to fill the Vegas bars.
