The only reason why it closed is because the people and governments who were buying influence figured out after her loss that they no longer needed to pay to play. That is as simple a piece of evidence for its criminality as you can get.

Thus it shouldn't MATTER if the owners are in politics or not......or does that not compute to you? Not a jump at all. After she lost the election the donations stopped. They didn't just slow down, they STOPPED. So at that point there was no need to continue the farce.
It also seems that the love affair between Putin and Trump is fixing to be over as well. I find it interesting that Putin didn't do anything when Obama seized those 2 properties and kicked out all the diplomats. All Putin did was wait, because Trump appeared so willing to work with him. During the G20 meeting, Putin even stated that he wanted those properties back and sanctions lifted.
Congress decided that they didn't want Trump doing that, so they passed a bill to make the only ones able to lift sanctions is Congress, and that includes returning those 2 properties to Russia.
The day after that bill passed? Putin seized 2 properties America had in Russia, and said that there are a whole bunch that have to leave, because he's going to limit the number of American diplomats in Russia.
Seems that everything is starting to fall apart for Trump.
