Google's Walking Robot Atlas - It will be the next big pivotal point in Human History!

really cool! I hope they make them to do the hard shitty work that we won't do. Science and tech changes things quite a bit!

Maybe a few for the science lab!

;)
It will no doubt start there, but it will go to not so shitty work we will do!

Mechanization of labour is way overdue.

It's disgusting that people are required to have work ethic in these shitty unnecessary jobs these days. To think, our ancestors worked 16 hour days-men women and children- to industrialise the world, just so we can get fat in call centres and give away all our slave labour to jigaboos.

our ancesters bleed and slaved to get us to where we are and now we refuse to use that excellence to solve the human condition.

I blame lesbians and conservatives.
Automation and machinery has improved the work place and killed jobs and has created others. As good as machines have been this next wave will be able to replace the human component completely.

It looks so life like in it's movements you can see where it will lead. It will lead to the robots from the scifi movies. These robots will change everything. They will start preforming the duties of minimum wage jobs: fast food workers, janitors, farm help, assembly line workers etc. After all no wages, no benefits, no time off, no vacations, no maternity leave, no breaks, no labor laws, no strikes, no complaints, no lazy workers and much more efficiency and cost effective. It will move to other fields: military, teaching, construction, law enforcement, surgeons, nurses, pharmacist, taxi drivers, accountants, pilots, deliverymen, secretaries, plumbers, electrians, lawyers and judges (after all who is more impartial then a robot/computer) etc.

Scary part is other than engineers, repair men, supervisors, politicians and business owners what jobs will be left.

The left's socialist utopia/dystopia might become reality. For a socialist utopia to be a reality you need a permanent slave class that will do the work to the best of their abilities without question, rebellion and on the bare minimum of resources. Can't get than from a human slave labor, but you can from a robot one.

However I don't believe it will be a utopia I think it will be a dystopia. I think there will be a small elitist class at the top the gains all the benefits from this new world and the mass at the bottom that live a life moderately but not greatly better than poverty level with 1-2% chance of moving up!

So, what you're saying is that the far left agenda will eventually lead to the same outcome as the far left accuses the far right of reaching for? Well, color me shocked.

The second part was misconstrued. I don't think it is a right or left agenda. I think it's the flow of "progress" and science, but when robots replace workers in the workforce the only solution is a government taking care of the masses solution.

This is the NWO in action, the NWO with the UN as the One World Government, they won't need 80% of the worlds population....so 80% of the worlds population will just have to go.

It's the Anti-Christ Age they're ushering in....this was all prophesised thousands upon thousands of years ago....all they need now to usher it all in, is the big Crisis, which will probably be either WWIII or a worldwide financial crash far worse than any crash in history, when one of those happens....NWO, UN One World Government, Anti-Christ will all be fully unveiled.

Of course this is going to be a nightmare of epic proportions, hundreds of millions are going to suffer terribly, hundreds of millions are going to die.

This is why people should be anti-Corporatism, anti-Globalisation and anti-UN and anti-Global Warming Hoax, because they're all in bed with each other.

Why not just join the fucking taliban or the isis? Pretty sad outlook on civilization.

I'm thinking of the bigger picture and it's ramifications for humanity, and it's not positive.

When all of those people are thrown out of work, how are they going to survive? Their savings won't get them through, what if there's a financial crash, they'll be penniless overnight....they'll end up starving.

You think this is GOOD?

This is why Liberalism is a mental illness, only a Liberal could possibly think this is a great thing, having the robots taking hundreds of millions of peoples' jobs.

Ideally, they'll work less for more :)

Half glass full view. Good for you.
