Thanks to good news in North Carolina, Georgia, and Kentucky(Paul Broun/Phil Gingrey/Greg Brannon/Matt Bevin won't get nominated basically), the GOP looks very much poised to take back the US Senate in 2014.

To see explanations of how these simulations are done, refer back to my previous projections:

Yep, that's not biased whatsoever.

Tom Tillis will defeat Kay Hagan in NC. She a twit who supported obamacare (good doggy, pat pat on the head) and not worth a damn to us. Bye bye Kay.

Will the Republican-controlled Senate vote to repeal Obama's big government USAPATRIOT Act and end the drug war? Or will the Republican-controlled Senate simply go back to arguing that those big government programs are necessary to fight crime and terrorism, and that we should cut entitlements like food aid and health insurance?

And guess what, nothing will change. Last time Republicans had the house, senate, and presidency, we got Obama-lite with medicare expansion and no child left behind.

Well I guess nothing ever changes in over 5 months time.

My guess is nothing will change with you. You will still be on your couch taking a toke; the only time you get up is to go to LGBTQWTF studies/12 years a slave black studies classes and go to vote for Obama.

And a couple of more wars lost, and a building or two.

911 was an inside job, and wars aren't about "winning" or "losing", they are about who gets what. Those who pull the strings got what they wanted out of both wars.

Have fun with that, and remember, Americans like a Divided Government, which means, more tea Madame President?

Yeah, like in 2008, 2005, 2003, etc...

:cuckoo:
Never heard the exception makes the rule? Too bad.

Since 2001 we've had 5 elections- 3 of those resulted in in a single party controlling Congress and the White house. That's 60 % of the time. It would have been 80% except for Jumpin' Jeffords in 2001....

Since 1949 it's 38% ...

Honestly, I would put it at closer to 90%.

The fact that's it's not as true currently doesn't mean it's untrue. We keep throwing the bums out, so we can put even worse people in. Americans are stupid, what can I say.
