GOP House Majority Whip Steve Scalise Spoke At White Supremacist Conference

Hey, one more piece in the puzzle to solve the mystery as to why blacks don't vote Republican,

at least for those on the right for whom it's still a mystery.

The GOP loves the *******. The token is on stage and the rest are serving drinks. No worries.

And Remember, they are the Party of Lincoln, who they hate with a passion for freeing the ******* and defeating the South.

Is there something this thread is going to add to the other one already on this topic, other than an opportunity for brain dead libs (I repeat myself) to exhibit fauxrage?

Oh, this is destined to be big.

Majority Whip Steve Scalise Struggles To Distance Himself From David Duke

For his part, Scalise's office has said he was unaware of the white supremacist group's views when as a state lawmaker, he spoke at the 2002 conference. But in 1999, then-state Rep. Scalise told a Washington newspaper that he agreed with many of Duke's "conservative" views.

You are what's wrong with America.

Engaging in character assassination of someone just because he's occasionally nodded his/ her head in agreement with an unpopular American enigma doesn't necessarily make that someone a carbon copy of the enigma.

Further, just because Duke's name is tainted by a repugnant organization of which he's been a member and spokesman doesn't mean the guy can't be a deep thinker and occasionally make some introspective comments on contemporary international sociopolitical issues.

In short, you are doing what cable news networks do: painting with too broad of a brush.

You need to think about your actions here the next time you whine about the death of good journalism. Moron.

If he was black and the racists he was involved with were affiliated with Al Sharpton he'd have a White House cabinet position and a TV show on NBC. Any complaints about him would be branded as 'racist' by the OP and all things left wing, especially the media.
Nothing like a little left wing duplicity.

Duke is not representative of all republicans, all republicans are not racists, and conservative dogma does not condone racism.

This does illustrate again, however, that most racists such as Duke identify as conservative, and feel most comfortable with republicans.

It's incumbent upon republicans and conservatives, therefore, to discover why racists are attracted to the republican agenda, and conservative dogma, and address the problem.

Until the problem is discovered and resolved, Scalise won't be the last republican embarrassed by racists among GOP ranks.

It wouldn't make much sense for white supremacists to pander to democrats since democrats are blatantly racist on behalf of non-whites. Duh.
This doesn't mean that repubs automatically acquiesce to the advances of white supremacists. Only so in the eyes and promotion of democrat propagandists and those who fall for their propaganda. Like you.

That republicans must 'struggle' to distance themselves from racists in the first place indicates the seriousness of the problem.

What is this thread going to contribute to the other two already on this topic other than leftist fauxrage?

Democrats have no so such qualms. They openly embrace their inner racist.

I'm still waiting for you to explain the essential racial profiling of the groups which identify by blackness and rally around the party (democrat) that complains about racial profiling.

As soon as Scalise begins having regular visits by Duke, and he becomes a close advisor like Sharpton is to Obama, then I'll begin to become concerned.

The contortions Democrats go through to "prove" they're not really the same racists who started the KKK and passed Jim Crowe laws is amazing.

Reminds me of when Archie Bunker went to a klan meeting
