GOP wants to make the poor productive

What is your 200,000 year statement all about?

the libturd said a political idea was a loser unless it had been tried in its pure form and succeeded. I pointed out that no idea had been tried in its pure form, and that there were no ideas for the first 200 000 years but that didn't mean a new untried one was a loser. In fact libertarian America ( unpure of course) was the greatest new gamble in human history and was not a loser!!

You think government was bigger then than now?

no

BTW, what was your favorite year in America? When we were the closest to your ideals?

the day Jefferson took office of course, when the Second American Revolution was consummated.

Answer nice and ppl will reply nicely btw.

one must not be nice to liberals

But Ed. You are a Libertarian. Like communism, it seems that Liebertarinism can not make it. Should we not throw them all in the garbage. Or is there a successful libertarian country.
If not, why would you back a looser??? About as stupid as a communist. But at least they can point to long periods when communist countries existed, sort of. But poor ed can not point to a single libertarian country that lasted as long as, say cuba. Poor ed. Backing a looser.

Meaningless lunacy since there was never a pure libertarian communist socialist fascist Fabian socialist or capitalist countryon earth; so by your liberal logic all political philosophies are losers. Moreover, for the first 200,000 years of human life on this planet there was no relatively libertarian country until America, but that did not mean the philosophy was a looser.

See what happens when a liberal tries to think?? Why not try law school and learn how to think Socratically??
Now ed. Playing the con game of changing what was said so you can try to attack it is disingenuous. Which i know does not bother you. What I said, me boy, is that like Communism, Libertarian economies are bound to fail. We all are just waiting for you to name one that did not. And you, comically, name the united states.

It will fail because it is changed from what it was into a socialist state. That would be your doing.

What is "it" that changed to socialism. I think if you are talking about a libertarian economy, that it would be interesting to hear which one you had in mind. But, I was just wondering where a successful libertarian economy existed ever. Seems you may think you know of one. But I would put money on you being, technically, full of shit.

Thanks for pointing out the irony of your own statement in bold. I was hoping you'd do what you did.

Really. So you do not believe that libertarian economies are doomed to failure? But you can not name one that did not fail. I see. You do not like logic. Well, OK, that's fair.

Now you're just plain lying. You said before, none have existed, yet you know they are doomed to failure. I suppose you can name one that failed? If you can't then they must all be successful. If you can, then you lied earlier. Take your pick.

In econ 101 they call economies "Mixed" not pure capitalist socialist communist or libertarian so no pure economy has ever failed because there has never been a pure economy.

Does the great liberal professor get it now?????

I said successful libertarian economy
I was asking the question

You may want to take a remedial reading class.

Sure, ed. that is true. But then, we are known as a regulated capitalist economy. Primarily capitalist, but with regulations.
Now, name a libertarian economy. And if you say there is one but it is primarily something else, like capitalist regulated, then you are full of shit, to put it technically. Because if it is regulated, it is not libertarian.
I mean, CATO must have a list for you.

Somalia is not representative of most economies. I doubt any economy would survive there, so you have no case. Next.

Over the last year, I've heard a number of GOP politicians talk about how we need to preserve the middle class and turn the poor into productive citizens. Personally, I think this is an excellent idea. I'm all for it.

And now, Mr. Speaker and other gentlemen, here's what needs to happen in order to achieve this very worthy goal:

  • Guarantee ample funding and the most talented educators in public schools at all levels and in all neighborhoods
  • Make tuition at colleges and universities free or greatly subsidized, for those who are academically qualified and who want to pursue an economically useful degree (those who want to major in lesbian Uzbekistani basket weaving can do it on their own dime)
  • Fund a public option for universal health care
  • Regulate markets to prevent scams that discourage widespread investment
  • Rebuild the infrastructure to pave the way for faster economic development
  • Revamp the justice system so that it no longer disproportionately punishes the poor
  • Bring the percentage of incarcerated citizens back in line with the rest of the free world (jails aren't free)

You realize that NONE of the items above is a handout for lazy, irresponsible people, of course. They are simply tools for those willing to make the effort to escape poverty and be successful.

Time to put your money where your mouths are.
Yay!

I am sure you believe you did. But then, you are delusional.

dear, please say why a libertarian economy would fail or admit as a liberal you lack the IQ to do so? Notice how as a liberal you have to be directed in a conversation because you have to evade so much even to pretend you are in the conversation??

We all are just waiting for you to name one that did not. And you, comically, name the united states.

Dear, if our founders were not the closest thing to libertarians what were they???????????????? If Jefferson did not want a far smaller government than even our government in 1800 what did he want???????????????????

Notice how as a liberal you have to be directed in a conversation because you have to evade so much??

See why we are positive a liberal will be so very very slow??? What other conclusion is possible. Your constant evasions and violent personal attacks are the perfect advertisment for liberalism!

Show us where any of these expensive programs has resulted in national increases in educational test scores dimwit.
Well, I am sure you believe they did not. And I know you do not like spending money on education. Because it would be much better if everyone stayed ignorant, just like you.

You know what they say. Ignorance is bliss. And you are just so blissfull.
