Actually, Gridlock in government WILL create jobs.

One of the major reasons private businesses aren't hiring and expanding is because they don't know what the government is going to do next. If the government can't make things worse, they can predict better.

If by chance the Republicans don't win the majority in the senate, they will pick up enough seats to stop Obama's social agendas from ever passing.

All the big legislation has been passed, just immigration and energy remain and the parties will split on these issues just as they have done in the past. I think this was Obama's plan. Knock out all the big stuff in the first two years when you have control of congress.

Washington, Adams, and Hamilton would have been for a strong national economic government. Jefferson, Madison, Monroe, Henry, and others would have opposed it.
