Sen. Lindsey Graham sounded the alarm Sunday about the growing threat of the Islamic State, the militant group formerly known as ISIS, launching an attack on American soil unless President Obama takes more decisive action to stop the terror group’s surge across Iraq and Syria.

Graham, R-S.C., a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, told “Fox News Sunday” that the well-funded, swiftly-strengthening organization, which has taken control of large parts of both Middle East countries, is a “direct threat to our homeland.”

“Mr. President, be honest with the threat we face,” Graham said. “They are coming.”

Graham was critical of the president's decision late last week to order a series of limited airstrikes at Islamic State military installations in northern Iraq to stop members from killing American personnel and the thousands of Christians, Kurds and others who have fled into the Sinjar Mountains....

Graham also argued that Islamic State’s nearly unchecked rise is the result of the president failing last year to take action against the group in Syria, even after the FBI and other U.S. intelligence officials warned the White House and Congress of its growing, global threat.

“Your game plan cannot protect the United States,” Graham said Sunday, addressing Obama.

Senator Lindsey Graham is late to the party and I doubt he has much credibility with the public any more.

That is what happens when you talk a tough game then don't follow through when you have the opportunity and engage in nation building instead of war fighting.

The U.S. military carried out a new series of airstrikes Sunday against ISIS targets in Iraq, marking the heaviest flurry of activity since the operations began.
In five hours the military struck five targets, including armed vehicles and a mortar position, U.S. Central Command said. The strikes began at 9:15 a.m. local time (2:15 a.m. ET), the military said.
"All aircraft exited the strikes areas safely," Central Command said in a statement.
Meanwhile, Kurdish forces recaptured two towns from ISIS, a senior Kurdish official said.
"Mahmour and Gweyr are in Kurdish hands," Qubad Talabani, deputy prime minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government told CNN on Sunday. The Islamist militant group had seized the towns Wednesday on a march toward Irbil.

Kurds are taking back towns from ISIS, and five strikes today are the widest yet, more to come. NO US DEATHS THUS FAR.
