So you're saying that people that want to keep our scientific institutions are more violent?

No, I didn't say anything at all about funding scientific institutions.

Your assertion depends on the Democrats being the only party willing to keep our scientific institutions, and that is a false assertion.

I am simply pointing out a correlation between voting Democrat and high crime. If you investigate the history of the urban Democratic Party practices that began with large North Eastern cities in the 1800's you would know that they were tied to organized crime groups. When FDR established the urban political machines, like mayor Dailey of Chicago's machine, in control of the Democratic Party, they became the party of corruption and organized crime. They do not want strong laws that inhibit their activities or allow for armed citizens that might shoot their shylocks and leg breakers.
