I find this song tremendously hopeful, despite its dour expression. Some people think the song is about suicide, but I think that's quite wrong. It's about the urge to retreat from everything, from everyone - but in the end, recognizes the cost "I'll never hear your voice again".
This is a fun one to jump in and crank my amp up to.
