I think the OP makes some pretty good points. I'm sure that some kids could adapt to such a situation, but other children, of course, will have a more difficult time and have to put with teasing and other such things. I wouldn't want to force my child into such an uncomfortable situation at such an impressionable time in his or her life, so if I was gay and wanted to live a gay lifestyle, I would sacrifice and wait until my child was older.
