No one said the driver was cited for a hate crime. That is an example of what some have been charged with as a hate crime.I looked it up, the truck driver was cited for squealing their tires, not a hate crime or anything related.
Actually the stole and destroyed federal property.Uh no. Liberals removed the flag from DC Union Station and set it on fire. That's theft, not freedom of speech. I'm sure they broke a few other laws creating an open fire in public. Jail time for sure. Hate crime? I have no idea what that even is anymore.

Don't think one has made its way to SCOTUS yet. I'd think it would be unconstitutional.There might be crimes based on hatred but so-called "hate crimes" are tailored to specific segments of society. It's not "equal justice under the law" as such and it's puzzling how they were never addressed by the Supreme Court.
