Thought about it a few times...but never really had a need or request to go.
Much of Africa is poor...not from anything other than widespread infighting or fighting with neighbors.
Africa has a huge amount of natural resources....everything from agricultural products to minerals. The labor market is largely highly uneducated and only fit for menial labor. There are pockets of educated people but they are largely unfunded.
Corrupt governments that are continually being elected by uneducated masses are going to keep the continent in poverty into the future. Corrupt leaders get voted in one right after another.
There's yet another war between neighboring nations starting up...not much to do about it until the population as a whole decides to do something different. But they are all so poverty stricken that the constant fighting and greed are winning the day.
