Hezbollah was created to defend southern Lebanon from Israeli aggression when the Lebanese Army was unable to prevent Israel from occupying Lebanon. They have done a good job. Lebanon is free from Israeli occupation and Israel will think twice about invading Lebanon again.

Israel have never refused to come to the peace table, what they have refused to do is give in to demands of pre conditions before the peace talks will even be allowed to go ahead.
