Well -- hang on a minute here. I'm hearing of a LOT of home appliances getting cameras in them. For instance.

When you text your fridge from the grocery store, it will show you a picture of all the food on the shelves. That means you can check to see if you've run out of orange juice or if those greens are looking brown. It also lets you text a photo from your smartphone to the fridge's external display.

If it gets triggered remotely when the door closes. It can get triggered remotely with the door open. It's on your home wi-fi network in order to text you a picture at the grocery store.

Just because Conway picked the wrong appliance doesn't mean consumers ought NOT to CONSIDER the privacy implications of raiding a fridge at 2AM in your birthday suit. It's nuts to pick this to death when folks really got to decide how "connected" they want to be...
