Now, were that even a bit "true", shouldn't Junior (or Manafort the senior and more experienced in that hapless bunch of Trump acolytes) have QUICKLY gotten on the phone with the FBI to report that folks from a foreign/adversarial country were FUNDING the hated DNC and daddy's opponent???

The above would make an "interesting" question to be asked of Junior under oath before Mueller, or one [maybe both] of the congressional committees, don't you agree?

I'd have answered "yes" to your question had you written "providing information" rather than "funding." There's no reason to think the Russians provided funding, money, to the Trump campaign. Information qualifies as a contribution; it's an in-kind contribution, not funding.

I would offer that the whole matter has been rendered moot. Donnie Baby has been determined to have come in contact with Ruskies, and so may have contracted Ruskie-itis, a dangerous condition that is a risk to the entire nation. Just one person with Ruskie-itis could endanger the security of the entire continental USA, so the Democrats have wisely called for a careful review of Donnie's security clearance, meantime he is being held in quarantine.

Of course you realize that many others, including Hillary Clinton had close contact with the little Ruskies. They are so adorable and cute to hold and cuddle, who can blame her? But of course now Hillary may be a danger to the country as well and they will have to question her security clearance too. You don't go running to the FBI simply on the basis of an unsubstantiated claim, such as she made. Especially to a pre-Trump James Comey FBI which was packed full of Obama sympathizers. Can You in all honesty tell me that if one of Hillary's staff was offered information on Donald Trump, that she would have fessed up about it? If anyone would have accepted help from the Russians, it would be Hillary. She owed them a lot for all the money they gave the Clinton Foundation. A quarter of our uranium reserves wasn't enough.

The problem is while Jr. failed to check out the sources, he's far and away more rational than you. Let's review.

A. First you imply Don Jr. lied. Of course he lied, you're a bleeding brain liberal.

B. Second, you imply Don Jr. was supposed to take the information at face value, and report it. Course, at no time was he provided information to report, but it's your story. Obviously you're short on material for inventing a story.
