by a wide margin. And before liberals throw shitfits about anti LGBT sentiment, the mayor of Houston is a lesbian who has been elected three times.
These transgender bathroom laws besides forcing others to to deny reality and play along with the delusions of mentally ill people, also provide special privileges to transgender people. How? Because nothing stops them legally from using BOTH bathrooms. The laws, every single one of them, allows them to use the bathroom they identify as, but nothing in those laws prevents them from using the bathroom of the gender "assigned at birth." Meaning they could use either bathroom, and not get in trouble for it. Whereas a non transgender man gets arrested for entering the woman's bathroom, and would be lucky not to be considered a sex offender. I would assume the same for women entering the men's bathroom if laws were applied equally. This is NOT the case for transgender people. They can legally use BOTH bathrooms, hence a special privilege, and NOT equality.
I don't care what the liberial insane brigade might say like "but they won't wnat to use their birth gender bathroom". The point is, they CAN use both, legally, unlike everyone else.
Why Houston’s gay rights ordinance failed: Fear of men in women’s bathrooms
