With the way everyone tears at each other when it comes to politics, I'm curious how everyone views themselves. I think most people are moderate, but the far left and right are just louder. I'm very independent and don't see any reason to give all my loyalty to any party. They both seem to make plenty of mistakes.
None of those so I picked Independent. I am a Racial Socialist. Economically left Socially right.
That one is new to me. Where do you get most of your news?
Breitbart,Infowars,Zero Hedge,I watch Fox but not often....usually tune in the morning to see what's going on. I read stormfront as well to get news that is relevant to me.

Moderates get - run over.
If You've Heard of Someone, Don't Listen to Him

The middle of the road is an island of safety unless it is a one-way street. "Run over" indicates you suspect but don't dare say that both sides are united against the powerless, one squeezing the majority from the bottom up, the other from the top down. There is no half-this, half-that. It's like splitting the difference between 2 + 2 = 0 and 2 + 2 = 22 and saying the moderate answer is 11.

One cannot be - a little bit pregnant. Those who try - never succeed.

So where do you fit in when there is only a Republican or Democrat to vote for? Did you vote Gary Johnson?

No, I was very disappointed he was the nominee again, and he disappointed the base again.

I was here leading the Libertarian exodus from Gary to the Donald, and I was right given Donald's first tax and spending cut budget.

What are your top 3 things you most want to see done?

1. legalize weed
2. ban any state sponsored DNA preferences
3. massively cut spending

Being a liberal moderate doesn't signify party loyalty or party affiliation..

3. massively cut spending

1. Seems like everything is going toward legalization. So far Colorado seems to be doing fine.
2. You lost me on that one.
3. Spending just for entitlements or all spending? I'd like to see some entitlements and military cuts, or at least no increases in military. I think we are much more endanger of collapsing economically than militarily.

Moderates get - run over.

It seems that way now. But if we go back to Bill Clinton it seemed like the parties worked together and were very successful. All this demanding my way or the highway seems to be ineffective.
Nope. It was highly polemic like it has been since day one. In '94 Republicans won with the contract with America. Bill had to be drug into things like welfare reform kicking and screaming and it took three tries to get it through.

The difference between him and Obama is that popularity was his goal and Obama much more ideologically driven. Bush gave the Dems pretty much all they wanted.

Bill ran on welfare reform...

But regardless we ended up with welfare reform which both parties had a hand in and it worked well.

Of course it is but that's what you get when you make a game (politics) that isn't zero-sum into a zero-sum game. Everyone loses but they get to be on top for a bit. Trump in a nutshell.
Politics isn't "zero sum" because normally everybody loses.

Nonsense. Ben Klassen is the founder of my religion and ideology.

I hate liberals, moderates I only want to punch in the face when they vote Dem.
You guys love that violence thing.
Snowflakes think thumb wrestling is violent. It's a contact sport, after all.
Punching someone in the face isn't - thumb wrestling.
Very observant. Government schooling hasn't let you down.
I had, unlike you, good teachers and went to - good schools.

And after that I learned so much more since I'd been taught the skills to - teach myself.
Lol, you really don't realize how ignorant you are. Priceless, lol.
