How do you pronounce Halladay?

or

Is it Hal - la - day? (first syllable rhymes with pal, sal, gal)

Seems the sports media pundits are split about 50/50 on this one.

Anyone know how he pronouces it?

In related pronunciation matters: I have heard Mike Mussina pronounce his last name and about 70+% of sportscasters get it wrong.
