This is how it's done. Why can't we have Republicans like this? Ones that actually lean right and use their majority to shove conservative bills down the throat of the democrats.
What we're getting from Johnson, and what we got from Trump, is nothing short of left leaning, left appeasing and getting their hind ends kicked by the left. Even when they had the majority.

The guy in the first video stated that Milei has a small majority in his government. One thing that stands out to me, compared to our own GOP, is that Milei is doing what DeSantis did. Used that majority to get good conservative things done. Pushing even that small majority down the throats of the socialist opposition.

Milei did what our government needs to do. CUT SPENDING FIRST..... Then do tax cuts (if possible) Unlike what we got from Trump, tax cuts then spending increases.

Yep. Run on cutting spending, and get specific. Get elected, then follow through.

Show some balls for once. Tell us what you're going to cut and by how much. Then, if the electorate likes it, you can get what you want. If you can't, you're no better than Trump, who built his "economy" on huge spending and trillions from the Fed.

That's how the GOP has done it since Reagan. Borrow trillions and make everything look good. Then when the bill comes in (inflation) blame it on the other party.

Trump vetoed 1 spending bill in 4 years. Oh, but the inflation is all Biden's fault (he says).

It will be Biden's fault, when the inflation from all his spending hits.

This whole concept of cutting spending first should be written in the constitution and the bible.

Cutting spending is political suicide.

When you talk "fiscal responsibility," you are asked, "Which programs will you cut?" Social Security and Medicare are off the table. As soon as you MENTION a program, everyone who depends on that program is on the front page of the NYT, and you are branded a heartless bastard.

The deficit is so massive that petty ante program cuts (NPR) won't make any difference to the deficit, but there are hundreds of them.

It used to be said that soon, interest will be so overwhelming that program cuts will be mandatory, but when they said that, a $500B deficit was a big deal. Now a trillion dollar deficit is considered OK.

Worst of all, whenever you talk about fiscal responsibility the Democrats start screaming that Republicans want to take away your Social Security, which kills any spending cuts immediately.

We are fucked.

Keeping the increase in the federal budget to less than the projected inflation rate once we get this out of inflation under control if ever, would eventually work. However, the parties must be in on it and/or the Republicans follow through if they have a massive House and Senate with the Presidency. They will be attacked relentlessly from the media/entertainers/politicians and orchestrated riots and carnage will occur.
