How long will Trump's presidential honeymoon last?

He's had it pretty easy so far. House and Senate Republicans are defending and supporting him. Democrats seem powerless to stop his fringe cabinet picks and SCOTUS nominee. Several sources have cited his dismal poll numbers and stated that his presidential honeymoon is over.

At least two years. The republican majority will continue to support Trump and the powerless democrat party will continue to try to obstruct the President. The question is how far are democrats willing to go. Will they get away with treason?

The honeymoon will depend upon two things; results are #1 and his behavior. Good results forgive a lot of sins. That aside, his behavior will break him without solid good results. It's one thing to forgive eccentricities and "white lies". It's another to forgive a complete nutjob out of touch with reality who constantly lies and expects others to nod "Yes" just like he's seen his sycophants do past 50 years.

This isn't a Honeymoon, he is dealing with millions of enemies of both him and America. Anarchists, alt-left "leaders", Democrats who refuse to acknowledge him and who would rather see him and America fail as long as they can say "see, we told you so!" as they row their dingy to Cuba.

Just get it done, keep his promises and he doesn't need either party, the country will follow him.

Just fine. He'll get a second one in 2019 following the mid-terms.

You really can't help yourself, can you? Do you spend all your time looking for crap like this? Or does it come from your Libtard overseers?

Trump has had no honeymoon.

Dem-Lib-Prog harpies have been prodding him since the morning of November 9, 2016, and have not let up.

Media harpies (many of them Leftist-Elitist propagandist swine) have been hammering away at him since the morning of November 9, 2016, and have not let up.

Harpies gonna harp...

Mind you, I cannot think of a demagogue more eligible for such treatment than He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named, however...

Once elected, a President is entitled to some time, to get his White House in order, before the brickbats begin to fly...

But, in their defense, these little LibTard bitches suffer from premature political ejaculation, and really can't help themselves...

It's a clinical (obsessive-compulsive) condition...

Trump never got a honeymoon. The left has done all they can to make sure of that.

If I were them I'd be more interested in 2018.

Its just around the corner and the Dems have seats they have to defend. The way they are going now I doubt they will win any of them except for those in the "safe" Dem zones.

Should be interesting.

2018 is going to be a disaster for Democrats. Even that might not teach them the lessons they clearly need to learn.

WHAT HONEYMOON, IDIOT?

Trump was never given a chance as a contender, or candidate, or a president.
The attacks were and still are fast and furious, baseless and stupid, against him and any and all members of his family.

Compare that to the Nobel Piece Prize given to the water melon boy and talk about honeymoon.

What a stupid metaphor. Being elected president is like getting married. To who? The press? Trump and the press never got past the first two dates.

There is no safe zone for Democrats.

I remember a few days before the election last November, the idiot former governor of Pennsylvania bragging about Pennsylvania being solid blue Democrat.

We know how that turned out.

IIRC, the honeymoon refers to "We, the People", specifically the voters who put the elected official into office.

That also does not make any sense as a metaphor. Nuptuals are not four year once renewable contracts. A divorce can happen the the next day.

Who came up with this stupid metaphor anyway? Probably a political science professor with tenure at Harvard.

You mean before the press turns hostile?

LOL

Awesome. Thanks for the information.

It wasn't awesome. It was a mediocre rant. I can't do awesome awesomeness 24/7.

They can get away with anything on the respective house floors, including treason, Ried proved that.
