Higher minimum wages and restrictions on contract workers in Blue states are increasing unemployment in those states and therefore will increase migration out of the Blue states. The big question is how many seats will be lost?

What is your guesstimate on how many will be lost?

No loses. They count illegal aliens in the census and for Electoral College and House apportionment purposes. Real American who have sense enough to get the hell out of shitholes like California, New York and New Jersey are being more than replaced by illegal aliens.

you are ignoring the increasing crime rate and decreasing tax base of the blue wall. Even Silicon Valley is moving out of CA to keep its workforce. With fires, floods, third world epidemics and ghost guns to fuel the drug wars the left coast is really sinking fast.

Democrats have to FORCE people to obey them with threats and fines and punishment. That's how popular their policies are.

The census itself does not matter that much

What matters is who gerrymanders the districts

The election of 2020 will decide that

too true. Worse yet Google, Apple and FB are just barely short of being legally Chinese spy agencies and if they cross that line CA is toast.

Illegals and the nonliving make up 50% of democrat voters, more in the inner cities

The last redistricting was a massacre for the Dems. Even though well over 50 percent of the votes were for Democrats, Republicans received an overwhelming majority of the House seats

Even if the Dems don’t win a majority of Governorships and state houses, they will win most of the House if they can just get close

And rednecks and racists make up 75% of republican voters

Republicans rule from a minority

They need major control of State Governments to maintain that rule

Hillary told us half were deplorables
Lets face it Meat how smart could all those voting for this AH trump be? Hillary was honest ,not afraid to show her tax returns ,knew gov't and our allies far better than moron trump ,, didn't lie every time she opened her mouth and republicans lied their asses off about her

Hillary was honest
I have never heard that before, seriously!
Since genocide Jackson created the Original NAZI party in the early 1800s complete with the invention of the big lie no D has ever soiled their mouths with anything truthful Like Kennedy covering up his drug addiction and his dad buying the 1960 election in the Chicago sewers.
LBJ running with the fictitious Tonkin Gulf incident in 1964
Carter claimed to be a Christian but was unaware of "I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you" and was surprised by the hostage crisis when he gave away the store against Israel. If even Truman knew those verses well enough to count on them to win his election for him when he recognized Israel just prior to the 48 election That is pretty good evidence even the most nominal of American Christians knows those verses but Carter didn't.

Clinton wagged the dog to avoid impeachment conviction.

The commie crook from Chicago and his apology tour was even worse than Clinton and that was hard.

While multiple possible scenarios could be in play, New York looks likely to be the biggest loser, and Florida and Texas the biggest winners.

States Gaining Districts (7)

  • Arizona +1 (from 9 to 10)
  • Colorado +1 (from 7 to 8)
  • Florida +2 (from 27 to 29)
  • Montana +1 (from At-large to 2)
  • North Carolina +1 (from 13 to 14)
  • Oregon +1 (from 5 to 6)
  • Texas +3 (from 36 to 39)
States Losing Districts (8 or 10)

  • Alabama -1 (from 7 to 6)
  • California -1 or even (from 53 to 52 or no change)
  • Illinois -1 (from 18 to 17)
  • Michigan -1 (from 14 to 13)
  • Minnesota -1 or even (from 8 to 7 or no change)
  • New York -2 (from 27 to 25)
  • Ohio -1 (from 16 to 15)
  • Pennsylvania -1 (from 18 to 17)
  • Rhode Island -1 (from 2 to 1)

So, what happens when people from NY move to Florida?
It turns a state that went Red in 2016 by half a percent into a Blue State

I suppose that depends on who is moving and whether they keep their same political views in tact.

Sounds reasonable but state minimum wages, limiting/eliminating contract workers and reduced public heath have only started to really annoy at a greater rate in the last six months and could blow over if there is a setting of the brakes on stupid regs but there is no indication that there will be any kind on a slow down.

I would hazard to guess that if someone from NY moves to Florida, he will stay Blue and if someone from Alabama moves to Florida, they will stay Red
