Is that what you demand of catholics also?If wearing burkas/hijabs is so important for "refugees" why are they all coming to secular states rather than staying in Muslim countries? They need to figure out what's MORE important for them and if they decide to come to secular states they have to obey the laws of those states and to give up their burkas/hijabs, a relic of the Middle Ages. It's 21st century, not a Stone age.

Burkas were around before Islam...Hunny Bunny....It's not a religious aspect but one of culture which is older than Christianity or "the West"...Is that what you demand of catholics also?If wearing burkas/hijabs is so important for "refugees" why are they all coming to secular states rather than staying in Muslim countries? Dear Moonglow
When it's just one Jewish person here, or one Catholic person there, wearing their dress in public,
that's not considered out of place. But when a whole crowd of people wears the same uniform in public,
that's seen as making a mob statement.
So a whole crowd of marching nuns would catch attention.
Or a whole rally of Christians bearing crosses would make a statement.
People don't want a whole religion imposed on them.
Similar to people suing to keep crosses, prayers and Bibles out of schools and public property.
There's nothing wrong with individual expression and free exercise.
Just don't make a whole movement out of it, or it appears to be imposing on other people.

Damn those Amish and Mennonites....and those damnable Power Rangers, not to mention the military...and Cub Scouts, well just damn everyone with underwear...Burkas were around before Islam...Hunny Bunny....It's not a religious aspect but one of culture which is older than Christianity or "the West"...Is that what you demand of catholics also?If wearing burkas/hijabs is so important for "refugees" why are they all coming to secular states rather than staying in Muslim countries? The same applies Moonglow
If you see a whole group of people dressed the same way,
this is seen as a group statement. Not a matter of individuals anymore.
Merkel's Madhouse, the state propaganda to wear Muslim dress.
