And why a dude that stretches carpet would even be talking to you is a mystery. Did you call them? And if you did why? They know as well as every other renter that you have no authority to have anything fixed since you dont own the property.

Thanks. I have the same problem. But I own and it showed up several years after installation. And I hate to have to move everything.

Don't use carpet machines that use water to clean your carpet and don't drag heavy items on it. Both stretch the fiber the backing is made out of. Water is terrible for your carpet
