I Just Wrote a Check

I was thinking about that and how today generation will look back at us as being the cavemen...

I knew a guy who could write cursive forward and backward.
And he could also write it left-handed and right-handed.

First day of class one HS year and a new teacher introduced himself by standing at the blackboard, back to us, and writing in very legible cursive his name. Started with the chalk in his left hand writing his name as the chalk moved across the board L to R. When it reached his nose, he brought his right hand up, switched the chalk to it, and finished writing his name. If you hadn’t seen it nothing would lead you to even think it wasn’t all written with the same hand.

He was a show off and not much of a teacher in book though.

For nostalgic purposes, I just wrote a check, put it in an envelope, and dropped it in the mail to pay a bill
