I worked 3 jobs to pay for college. I learned how to do flambe's , and working with fire next to the tables. Pouring grand marnier on fire over cheesecake.
Then I forced my way into an all male restaurant, huge tips.. 50 year old scotch 50 dollars a shot..back then people could write off their dinners , so the rounds of scotch were ever flowing..

There were nights when the whole restaurant was filled with men only..I was the only female with a big smile on her face...lol.

I loved that kind of work..
