I was told a lie today that George Wallace was a Republican. Below are the facts.

My mother who was a democrat also liked Wallace. I believe even Biden liked George Wallace.

Wallace opposed desegregation and supported the policies of "Jim Crow" during the Civil Rights Movement, declaring in his 1963 inaugural address that he stood for "segregation now, segregation tomorrow, segregation forever."[6] I remember my dad talking about that and that they said back then Wallace was prejudice. (I think that was the word used)
