Idiot Dem Excited About People Working Less Hours

Now that's a switch--look at it from the "employees" point of view through "job locks." Sniff--Sniff--they can't change jobs--because they don't want to lose their insurance--so these "poor" slaves are having to work for the same employer--and BECAUSE of Obamacare they are now FREE from the bondage of employment.

Hey TeaTard - listen to your conservative idol:

“A lot of people change their jobs. So the tax benefit should change and go with them, and not be attached to their jobs. We want to address job lock. So, the key question that ought to be addressed in any health care reform legislation, is are we going to continue job lock, or are we going to allow individuals more choice, and portability to fit the 21st century workforce?” [Paul Ryan, 5/20/2009]

Whatcha got to say now, bitch?

I always love hearing denial from Far Leftists when it comes to the facts on Obamacare, they scramble to find a way to defend it, but they still don't even know how the law will effect them and they haven't even read the whole bill.. But they trust their government will provide this great deal for them, and its all just fantasy..

I don't need to defend it - it's a great law.

If you wingnuts hate it, it must be good for America!

Barack Obama has usurped his constitutional authority by changing Obamacare 27 times without the required congressional approval. Trying to spin it with Romneycare--is just really too dumb to even comment on. Health care has always been a state issue until Obamacare. States have the right just like they do with auto insurance to make mandates regarding their health care regulations. Obamacare is unprecedented for the Federal Government and it's an over-reach of powers.

If your bullshit talking point was true, where are the lawsuits?

People who have actually read the Constitution have no problem with any of this.

“Today, leaving a job or changing jobs means leav*ing behind the health insurance provided at the place of work. Individuals who wish to take a better job, change careers, or leave the workforce to raise a family or to retire early take substantial risks. [...] Under the McCain plan, which links tax breaks directly to individuals instead of to their place of work, individuals would no longer feel obligated to stay with their employers simply because they need to keep their employer-based health insurance. [Heritage Foundation, 10/15/2008]

It just keeps on getting better and better!

“[T]he employer-based system leads to ‘job lock,’ whereby people are afraid to leave their jobs if they fall ill on the job, because switching plans could mean higher premiums or denial of coverage.” [Avik Roy, former health care adviser to Mitt Romney, 2/7/2012]

As Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) explained in 2008, while rolling out the health care proposal that animated his presidential campaign, “‘job lock’ reduces opportunities for American workers because they often pass up new jobs for fear of losing their health care coverage.” The health care law will start to change that predicament.

And the King Of The TeaTards:

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) who called the CBO findings “unreal” has long been an advocate of disconnecting health care insurance from employment. As he wrote in 2013, “It’s common sense to recognize that Obamacare isn’t working. We need to repeal it entirely, and instead reform federal law to expand choices and make health plans personal, portable and affordable.”

When I voted for Obama I was promised a Jet Ski. Wtf Obama where is it?

When Obama was elected president, we were promised transparency on an unheard of scale. Wtf Obama, where is it?

Is "if you like it you can keep it" all the transparency you can muster?

So you'd be happier if he had said, "95% of you can keep it if you like it, or get something better", because that would be slightly more accurate?

Or do you just want to be angry at Obama because at 26, you have no prospects?

Geez. I'd be happy if he didn't lie to America period.

Or do you just want to attack me for not having a job, in your middle age, simply because you have no argument?

No, I want to attack you for not having a job because you keep supporting the people who would keep you from getting one.

Imagine a world where you could get your medication because health care is a right, and then you could hold down a job because you wouldn't act all crazy at work because of a little stress.

This is just another case of "it's bad if the black guy does it". Republicans used to think "job lock" was bad...until the Affordable Care Act took care of that.

YAWN; you are comparing apples to oranges. protability could have been accomplished without a whole huge failed program like obamacare. and we are talking with obamacare about the LOSS OF MILLIONS OF JOBS; not about "job lock"

the race card is so lame and pathetic.. what a joke you are

You're right, it could have been accomplished without the Affordable Care Act. It could have been VERY simple...Medicare for all would be simple enough for even conservatives to understand and they wouldn't have to read very much. (which seems to be their biggest problem with the ACA...too many pages)

And you don't understand that everyone paying into it would take care of any unfunded anything that Medicare has?

All other industrialized countries on the planet have moved to a single payer healthcare system. Not a single one has adopted a system like the United States has. There's a reason for that. We pay more and have worse overall outcomes.

Until we move to a hybrid single payer system, we will be playing catch up with the rest of the world.

The USA has BETTER OUTCOMES FOR CANCER SURVIVAL; and shorter wait times.
we pay more for lots of reasons leftard; lack of single payer isnt one of them.
do you know places like England have LOSER-PAYS tort law?
thats right if you lose your court case you have to pay the other side's court costs.

please stop making obtuse "conclusions' based on your narrative only

people who are the most politically-correct also tend to be some of the least tolerant people on the planet.

being politically-correct is all about paying homage to the victim du jour

idiots and hypocrites

in the "politically-correct" world you can pretty much say anything you want about people who arent gay, female, or "minority'. the implication is they must deserve contempt because people who look like them once did bad things to other people who didnt look like them.

there are no bigger cowards and hypocrites than politically-correct people. thank God even many minorities dismiss the race-obsessed, politically-correct Left-wing rabid partisans
