well now that you mentioned it. yeah
think people instead of just swallowing anything...WHY did he pick out Reagan? why not Carter, Clinton? no he goes back to Reagan, seriously

ONE of the comments with that article on the site

SNIP:
Rob, quite an interesting use of statistics. How about telling us how debt to GDP changed from the time Reagan took office to the time he left, and comparing it to that for Obama? How about not cherry picking dates and looking at average real gas prices during Obama’s presidency compared to GW? How about looking at something simple, like total jobs created, over the course of the presidency? There is a certain dishonesty involved in beginning with a conclusion and cherry picking your data to try to fit it. I am not prepared to say that Reagan’s presidency was the best for the economy, or that Obama’s is the worst, or even that changes in economic statistics over the course of a president’s term should all be attributed to him. But you have demonstrated nothing other than a disturbing tendency to misuse statistics.

It's not futile when the people and perspective you want working for you are elected.
Unless you are very wealthy that never happens.
Casting your vote is the only time your opinion matters. It is better than constantly fighting civil wars.
I know all the arguments for voting for whomever your party of choice nominates but the results have been somewhat horrific of late. Seems every election year we only get the plutocracy more entrenched in the process and an even deafer bunch of corrupt narcissists.
People have been saying that probably since the beginning of the country. Go back and watch a movie from the 20s or 30s, one about politics. They are saying the same damn thing in those movies. It is all in how you see it. Most people just don't have any perspective and think the times they are living in are worse than others; the reality is that such an idea is not consistent with reality.

So you think Adam Hartung is a pinko commie Obamabot?
I posted a rebuttal to his idiotic article:
Economic Growth Obama Vs. Reagan Investing.com
That was no rebuttal! That was a pathetic pathetic ramblings of a butt-hurt political hack.

Bush took the employment rate of the 197 million working age population from 74% down to 65%. Bush destroyed 18 million jobs.

Obama took the employment rate of the 203 million working age population from 65% up to 69%. Obama restored or created 8 million jobs. :eusa_clap:

Employment Rate of Working Age Population

Obama is mopping the floor with both Bush's. They could only dream of having Obama's increased employment rates. For 5 years now Household Income, Hires & Quits rates have been rising while the Unemployment & U-6 rates have been falling. :eusa_clap:

Employment is rising at increasing velocity. First 6 months of 2014 average 231k jobs added per month, last year the average was 194K jobs added per month. :eusa_clap:

The last time over 200,000 new jobs were created 6 months in a row was in 1995 when Bill Clinton was president! :eusa_clap:

Obama crushed the Stagflation caused by Bush
