If We Can Get A Second Chance Then Why Can't Satan?

This conversation is Silly.
It's silly because it's based on the precepts of the adversary (satanic) teachings which are mythological and impractical.
Technically Satan (adversary) did get a second and third chance.
DAGON (THE FISHMAN GOD) was no longer popular or palatable, especially with the harvest suffering droughts, so they gave him a second chance as a harvest god Baal, the Dec 25th born circle sun cross symbol dying god son of Dagon.
The Baal priests would even wear fishead hats now called Miters, and scale robes still worn today. Baal's 3 day risen death scene is EXACTLY the passion play used for Satan's third chance once the seed harvest scam wore thin with drought riddled farmers, Baal's popularity needed another Dying son scene to mask and overshadow the father and surpass him on the throne in heaven (in death), so enter the masked mythology now named Jesus (the morning star was Baal's son-rev 22:16).
Hence father and son as one (same myth).
The harvest seed scam still used today now became Money yet they still use the word seeds to mask the less popular money money money talk.
The fisher of men, the fishead hat miter, fishman god ring of the pope, the Baal cross, the scale robes, the talk of harvest, the scams, the mythologies and passion play (found predating Jesus on ancient tablets now housed in the British museum) the Dec 25th birthday all part of Satan's 3 chances to maintain power over the fishies-hook, line, and sinker.

Dictionary:
[See Lucifer here etymology of :
"[ the morning star, a fallen rebel archangel, THE Devil, fr. OE. fr. Latin, the morning star, fr. Lucifer light-bearing, fr. luc light + -fer -ferous--more at LIGHT]" (Webster's, p.677)

“... from my Father (Baal). To the one who conquers(DESTROYS) I will also give the morning star(LUCIFER).” -- Revelation 2:28

Revelation 22:16 I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify these things in the churches.
I am the bright and Morning Star (lucifer)

Now, I don't mean that we should really give him a second chance,.. I mean since I do believe that all demons were once angels why can't they revert back? This comes from a character I invented that's half-demon (since her mother was a succubus) who wants to do good and wants to feel emotion like love. Even though it's just a story, I sort of wonder if this could ever happen. I mean I think that a succubus is just basically folklore, but why can't demons choose to do again? Btw, this is for all of you who don't know what a succubus is.

.
because to triumph in evil is irreversible and as that is the prescription barring their admission to the Everlasting they may never return and in particular satan is dead. the final act for the triumph of good - - dw has no idea.

So in that case does the Bible mention anything about demons reverting back to being angels? I mean if God can forgive us then surely He could forgive a demon if they truly repented and were sorry for their evil ways.
They lived in God's presence. They chose rebellion. Their character set.

Man can reach a point that they too are beyond saving. This is why God found it necessary to remove Man from the earth at the time of the Flood. It is why He destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah. They still have a chance at the Resurrection of the Dead.

Satan and his demons made their choice. Your pity for them is misplaced. That's what happens when you dabble in witchcraft

At any point in time you can be moving away from God or towards God. So no, triumph in evil is NOT irreversible.

I think DW has a better idea than you do. So if DW has no idea, you have less than no idea. ;)

and if satan had not triumphed - in evil - they would not be irredeemable, is the answer to the inquiry. if that is what the christians think of satan.

truth is, satan is dead.
You mean brain dead?

I don't know if there is a satan or not and if there is if he is dead or not. More importantly I don't care.

My point is at any point you can be moving towards or away from God. So become complacent at your own risk.

So your argument against Christianity does not hold water. No one is perfect. People will make mistakes. Even good people. So forgiveness will always be an integral part of our walk with Christ. Jesus can only be a savior if we are in need and reach out to him. He saves us from ourselves.

just give accreditation where it belongs and not where it does not.

Do you actually believe in satan and demons?

That's the thing though... the battle is never over. There is no resting on laurels. It's a constant battle.

Lucifer in the premortal world of spirits was a highly ranked individual known as a son of the morning. Among all the sons of God, a son of the morning was a highly ranked person who was a leader among all the sons of God. Another term for a son of the morning is morning star.

Job 38:3-7
3 Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me.
4 Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.
5 Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?
6 Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof;
7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

Lucifer however had a problem. He thought very highly of himself and had no humility. He actually thought that he should have been chosen to be the Savior of the world.

Abraham 3:24-28
24 And there stood one among them that was like unto God, and he said unto those who were with him: We will go down, for there is space there, and we will take of these materials, and we will make an earth whereon these may dwell;
25 And we will prove them herewith, to see if they will do all things whatsoever the Lord their God shall command them;
26 And they who keep their first estate shall be added upon; and they who keep not their first estate shall not have glory in the same kingdom with those who keep their first estate; and they who keep their second estate shall have glory added upon their heads for ever and ever.
27 And the Lord said: Whom shall I send? And one answered like unto the Son of Man: Here am I, send me. And another answered and said: Here am I, send me. And the Lord said: I will send the first.
28 And the second was angry, and kept not his first estate; and, at that day, many followed after him.

Lucifer was the second volunteer to be the Savior but was not selected by God the Father. He was angry when he wasn't selected.

Lucifer then came up with his own plan of salvation and sought to take away the free agency of mankind to ensure that all mankind would be saved. He was very proud of his plan but it was a plan that would never work. When he presented it before God the Father, his plan was rejected. At this point, Satan came out in open rebellion against God the Father and his firstborn Son Jesus Christ. He began to recruit followers after his plan and eventually was able to convince 1/3 of all the hosts of heaven to side with him. Those who did not side with him tried to convince others not to side with him and this was known as the War in Heaven.

Moses 4:1-4
1 And I, the Lord God, spake unto Moses, saying: That Satan, whom thou hast commanded in the name of mine Only Begotten, is the same which was from the beginning, and he came before me, saying—Behold, here am I, send me, I will be thy son, and I will redeem all mankind, that one soul shall not be lost, and surely I will do it; wherefore give me thine honor.
2 But, behold, my Beloved Son, which was my Beloved and Chosen from the beginning, said unto me—Father, thy will be done, and the glory be thine forever.
3 Wherefore, because that Satan rebelled against me, and sought to destroy the agency of man, which I, the Lord God, had given him, and also, that I should give unto him mine own power; by the power of mine Only Begotten, I caused that he should be cast down;
4 And he became Satan, yea, even the devil, the father of all lies, to deceive and to blind men, and to lead them captive at his will, even as many as would not hearken unto my voice.

Lucifer's name was changed to Satan and also Perdition. He was cast out of heaven for rebellion against the Father. This was the fall of Satan. This war is also told of in the book of Revelation:

Revelation 12:7-11
7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

We who come to this earth also preexisted this life and fought in the War in heaven. Satan and his followers were cast into the earth without receiving a body. But those who fought on the side of Michael are we who come to this earth and receive a body. We are the ones who are able to overcome by the blood of the Lamb and by our testimonies of God. And we are subject unto death in this life.

Doctrine and Covenants 76:24-49
24 That by him, and through him, and of him, the worlds are and were created, and the inhabitants thereof are begotten sons and daughters unto God.
25 And this we saw also, and bear record, that an angel of God who was in authority in the presence of God, who rebelled against the Only Begotten Son whom the Father loved and who was in the bosom of the Father, was thrust down from the presence of God and the Son,
26 And was called Perdition, for the heavens wept over him—he was Lucifer, a son of the morning.
27 And we beheld, and lo, he is fallen! is fallen, even a son of the morning!
28 And while we were yet in the Spirit, the Lord commanded us that we should write the vision; for we beheld Satan, that old serpent, even the devil, who rebelled against God, and sought to take the kingdom of our God and his Christ—
29 Wherefore, he maketh war with the saints of God, and encompasseth them round about.
30 And we saw a vision of the sufferings of those with whom he made war and overcame, for thus came the voice of the Lord unto us:
31 Thus saith the Lord concerning all those who know my power, and have been made partakers thereof, and suffered themselves through the power of the devil to be overcome, and to deny the truth and defy my power—
32 They are they who are the sons of perdition, of whom I say that it had been better for them never to have been born;
33 For they are vessels of wrath, doomed to suffer the wrath of God, with the devil and his angels in eternity;
34 Concerning whom I have said there is no forgiveness in this world nor in the world to come—
35 Having denied the Holy Spirit after having received it, and having denied the Only Begotten Son of the Father, having crucified him unto themselves and put him to an open shame.
36 These are they who shall go away into the lake of fire and brimstone, with the devil and his angels—
37 And the only ones on whom the second death shall have any power;
38 Yea, verily, the only ones who shall not be redeemed in the due time of the Lord, after the sufferings of his wrath.
39 For all the rest shall be brought forth by the resurrection of the dead, through the triumph and the glory of the Lamb, who was slain, who was in the bosom of the Father before the worlds were made.
40 And this is the gospel, the glad tidings, which the voice out of the heavens bore record unto us—
41 That he came into the world, even Jesus, to be crucified for the world, and to bear the sins of the world, and to sanctify the world, and to cleanse it from all unrighteousness;
42 That through him all might be saved whom the Father had put into his power and made by him;
43 Who glorifies the Father, and saves all the works of his hands, except those sons of perdition who deny the Son after the Father has revealed him.
44 Wherefore, he saves all except them—they shall go away into everlasting punishment, which is endless punishment, which is eternal punishment, to reign with the devil and his angels in eternity, where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched, which is their torment—
45 And the end thereof, neither the place thereof, nor their torment, no man knows;
46 Neither was it revealed, neither is, neither will be revealed unto man, except to them who are made partakers thereof;
47 Nevertheless, I, the Lord, show it by vision unto many, but straightway shut it up again;
48 Wherefore, the end, the width, the height, the depth, and the misery thereof, they understand not, neither any man except those who are ordained unto this condemnation.
49 And we heard the voice, saying: Write the vision, for lo, this is the end of the vision of the sufferings of the ungodly.

There is something about receiving a high knowledge of God and then rejecting him which will bring damnation upon a soul. Those who receive in this life a witness from the Holy Ghost that Jesus is the Christ and is the Savior of the world and then turn completely against God and seek to destroy the work of God Become sons of Perdition and are under the unpardonable sin. Satan and his followers were in the very presence of God and under the influence of his power and truth but still rebelled against him in his very presence. Having a perfect knowledge and witness of God from being in his presence or from the Holy Ghost, and then turning against God is the unpardonable sin and there is no forgiveness in this world nor the world to come.

Isaiah 14:12-17
12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
16 They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;
17 That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?
