Negotiating and executing a withdrawal are not the same. This is especially true after Biden and Harris were warned by senior military leaders about withdrawing troops and ignored recommendations to conduct the Afghanistan withdrawal in a more secure location at Bagram Air Base. It was poor planning for the withdrawal, they ignored warnings and created a chaotic environment that left 13 servicemen killed and billions of dollars of free military equipment to the Taliban (who has been selling it for revenue).

I am glad we are out. There were 2,402 military deaths in Afghanistan between 2001 and 2021, 1,921 of which were combat deaths, the 13 victims of that suicide bomber included. Yes, I am glad we are out of there.

That's a fact. Neither Biden nor Harris had any interest in the memorial event. The Gold Star families invited President Trump to attend and participate and he immediately said yes. He intended to do it just with the families and no press but the families wanted the event recorded.
