This is already a good thread and has a chance to be better.

I think blind people ought to be able to get gun permits.

First, you can count on them not to go out packin "lookin" for trouble.

Also, you can't accuse them of being bigots and racists when they blow away home invaders who turn out to be black.

And you don't need to be able to aim when using a sawed off shotgun.

Can't drive and "visually impaired" is a bit different from being blind. Maybe the radical left can avoid talking about the freaking Obama administration if they pretend that gun permits issued to three visually impaired people constitute a national scandal.

i have a personal friend that lives in Minnesota that is 100 percent blind

and bags a deer every year with his 30-06

he needs assistance to do that but he does

on the other hand he is completely competent to handle a side arm

and could use it if attacked

Does this mean it's illegal to shoot someone if they've disabled my power before invading my house?
