A maniac by definition isn't rational. The ex-MOSSAD official was in a good position to know the truth. And look at history. Mao seemed crazy--you should see a quote-- and there were suggestions the US should bomb its nuclear facilities before they produced a weapon. But China exploded its first nuke in '65 and has coexisted peacefully for 50 years.

My point was that the Iranians (like others with "mania") are deterrable, and therefore much of the hype over a nuke program is overblown.
