To be more specific, the Russia/China/Iran/North Korea axis of evil is a threat. Those are all expansionist authoritarian imperialist powers, willing to use violence against their democratic neighbors.

Some Republicans now advocate for appeasement of that axis of evil, the Ukraine war being the obvious example.
