Italy Could Soon Offer Women Paid ‘Menstrual Leave’
Work ability sometimes affected for women suffering debilitating cramps, say health experts
Italy could soon become the first Western country to offer paid “menstrual leave” to female workers.

The proposed law is currently being debated in the country’s parliament. If passed, it would mandate that companies enforce a “menstrual leave” policy and offer three paid days off each month to working women who experience painful periods.

Don't be mad when businesses would rather hire a male who won't miss work for cramps. Also, don't be angry that men are paid more for contributing more.

It's not a bad thing. Male dominated industries tend to bully men who have a sick day.

We all should be looking for a world where we work less.

No one is allowed sick days in small businesses anyway.

^^^ Some places won't even give a person one grievance day when they lose someone close to them. I have a cousin who was fired just for taking one day off to go to his mother's funeral.
