I stopped buying GM when they killed Pontiac because the name was not PC. They were ready to launch a retro GTO too. I was no fan of Oldsmobile but it was killed off too when Obozo said you have too many models of cars. GM fought to keep the GMC line. Who the F*** is the Gubmint to tell a company what they can sell?
