Sorry to read this. Have you had a colonoscopy? Is the blood coagulated and dark or brighter red? If it's brighter red that's more serious and you need to go in. Can you come across the border and go to an American clinic?

It was bright red yes. Also had very dark, almost black stool, which suggests internal bleeding. Those specific combination of symptoms, were the beginning of this episode.

It's your call, but if you can't be seen in Canada I would try to make an appointment in an American Gastroenterology clinic.

I appreciate your concern, really. I am hoping to soon have my B.C problem fixed (after an absurd, lengthy and expensive battle relative to the I.D) and I will try to get something done.

If not, I am going to contact my government and ask for coverage in the U.S on humanitarian grounds. We used to have coverage out of country for short periods, now, due to mismanagement of the socialists, that is gone.

US clinics won't take people without insurance.

I thought I read somewhere that US clinics near the Canadian border will take Canadians. I could be wrong on that.

This is Canada. Been happening on and off for months. Thought it might be a kidney stone, then maybe UTI, or bladder infection. Eaten raw garlic, plenty of yogurt, raw cabbage, lots of water. Some days nothing, next day, sharp or persistent pains.

Only fitting that the Communists take me out I suppose. We have no room in our hospitals for walk ins, and the government hasn't given my my birth certificate in a 2 year battle.

Could be an ulcer or stomach virus ???

Make sure and cook everything you eat to death for a few weeks...no raw foods and stay away from fiber a while and go to soft carbs....see if it helps...
