Jacksonville billboard: 'The NRA is a terrorist organization'

Monitor his movements? Lololol....putting up a billboard between the airport and Mar-A-Lago might be a mental challenge for the Right.
Depends on if it was known that the Presidents motorcade was to pass by this billboard in which was the reason the site was chosen for the signage that would be directed at the motorcade if was the case.

And what would be the problem with that? There are only a couple of roads into Mar-a-Lago.

You seem to be suggesting that the billboard put POTUS in danger. LoL
. Nope you don't understand... The point is that if the bill boards were placed in his path in hopes to target him for a response, then the same could be looked at by others whom may not be as kind in their messaging. So the question is whether or not his motorcade was targeted by the placement of the message upon the bill boards that lay within the motorcade route.

Do you think it would be legal to send a message by jumping out from behind the billboard to throw water balloons at the motorcade as it passed by ??

Dear beagle9
Isn't the point to get media coverage?
Whether or not Trump responds, or the NRA or Rush Limbaugh.
Even if all the billboards get is viral posting and sharing on tweets or FB
isn't that what they are trying to do?
I was curious about the specific targeting aspect of it, because someone on here was laughing and boasting about the one billboard being placed in the motorcade route for Trump to read on his way to Mara-lago (even showing the SUVs passing the billboard), in which was shocking if think about it..... Isn't it highly illegal to target the motorcade even if it is with a message upon a billboard that was placed into the route like that ?? Otherwise what were the implications found in this act of targeting ??

Citizens need to becareful. They might violate something, and then didn't realize that they did.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - An anti-GOP political action committee known for controversial tactics is going after the National Rifle Association with a Jacksonville billboard deriding the group as a "terrorist organization."

For those driving along Interstate 295 near Commonwealth Avenue and Interstate 10 on the city's Westside, the signage is hard to miss -- "The NRA is a terrorist organization," the message reads.

It's not clear exactly when the billboard went up. But according to the sign, it was paid for by Mad Dog PAC, a political action committee led by Claude Taylor, a former White House staffer for President Bill Clinton.

"It got you to call me, which you probably wouldn't have done otherwise, right? It has people talking. We put up these billboards and it begins a conversation," Taylor told News4Jax by phone Friday. "People are discussing the issue and not just because of us, but because the issue is so important."

Southern Georgia folk making a positive statement for America! So much winning! :113:

Moar....
If this group is making the claim then they should be able to provide proof that the NRA has provided funding and support for terrorist actions.
Who was it who pays off Congressmen so those with mental health issues those on the terrorist watch list, can still buy guns?

It's called "due process", dumbass! Look it up!

Listen you, it is illegal to show the position of the motorcade in a targeted way no matter what type of targeting was being committed. In this case it was the message on a billboard, but it could lead to the ideas of others having other ideas about what message they might send in another way, but in the same way. The route is off limits for broadcasting messages towards the President in any sort of way. Now if it was just happenstance that the motorcade passed the location without knowledge of the route by the Messengers of the billboard, and the billboard just happen to be caught in the pic by a citizen taking a pic of the billboard while the motorcade passed by under it unknown, then that is ok.

Question: If I stand near the anticipated arrival point outside a Trump speaking venue with a sign that says "Impeach Trump" - I've committed an illegal act?

.Nope.... Not the same thing. You haven't anticipated a motorcade route, and set up the event targeting the President upon that route. Proper security measures are in place in anticipation of your participation in the rally with your protest and signs, but it is not as common of a practice for you to be seen upon a motorcade route by the motorcade in route. The arrival point or rally at the end of the route is anticipated by presidential security. Now yes the motorcade is also protected in route, so the assumption of any attacks being upon the route, is not a very common thing to take place in respect to the motorcade as it travels within this nation, although the motorcade is ready for any situation if one should arise.

I never said attendance was mandatory. In my state the courts determine how much is spent on the government schools and who is mandated to pay for them

Bullshit - in many venues there is ONE WAY IN to the stage entrance. In Mar-a-Lago there are precisely TWO connecting bridges.

The billboard should have been erected in both :D

You keep attacking the NRA...the NRA supports the FIX NICS act....the democrats oppose it.

California democrats passed a bill to let violent criminals out of prison early, the NRA fought against it...

The NRA trains local, state and federal law enforcement...the democrats constantly attack law enforcement and prevent them from arresting violent gun criminals.

You keep attacking the NRA...the NRA supports armed security and armed staff in the schools, the democrats oppose it.

The NRA teaches fun safety to millions of children...the democrats fight teaching gun safety to kids.

The NRA supports keeping violent gun offenders in prison, the democrats let violent gun offenders out of jail and pass laws letting them out early.

The NRA doesn't support the PROMISE PROGRAM, of obama, which allowed the shooter to get the gun...the democrats created and support the Promise program...which allowed the shooter to get his gun...

Since those are the facts, the truth and the reality.....

Of the two groups...the democrats are the ones supporting violent murder, not the NRA...

Advocating against the 2nd Amendment is unAmerican. Doing so will blow up in Democrat's faces like a product purchased from ACME industries by Wile E. Coyote.

iu

Yes...the democrat platform...

-impeach Trump no matter that he has done nothing wrong.

--raise taxes and get back all the money people have from the Trump tax cuts

--ban and confiscate all guns

--allow illegal aliens to vote

--allow illegal alien criminals to stay in the United states.....

Yeah.....that is a great platform to run on...

. Even more evidence such a thing should be illegal. You speaking of choke points or limited points of entry or exit's is not good.
