The Sudanese army backed by the Rapid Support Forces have inflicted heavy losses on Justice and Equality Movement (JEM) in lives and equipment.

JEM leader has officially acknowledged that its combatants were defeated in the battle of En Nakhara in South Darfur last Sunday.

Coming from South Sudanese territories, JEM rebels supplied with considerable amount of ammunition, weaponry and military logistics were tending to carry out military operations to bring about state of instability in the depth of Sudan.

The rebels were taken by surprise when the Sudanese army ambushed them seizing a convoy of 200 vehicles and captured dozens of rebels including senior commanders.

The defeat has broken the back of the rebels who need to decades to come back to battle ground. The incident takes us back to Wad Banada where former JEM leader, Dr Khalil Ibrahim was killed by the Sudanese army in his way to South Sudan carrying a large amounts of gold, money and military support given by the Ghaddaffi regime, said analysts in Khartoum.

According to military expert in Kampala, JEM lost 80% in the battle, so some of the rebel leaders have decided to abandon the movement forever to embrace peace process.

The leaders of the Sudan Revolutionary Front exchanged phone contacts over the future of the Front following the defeat of JEM, one of the components of the umbrella body.

"Jibreel Ibrahim (JEM Leader) is neither all ears to other nor work perfectly" said SRF Chairman, Malik Agar telling Yassir Araman, Secretary General.

In turn, JEM leader has switched off his mobiles following the series of calls either sympathizing or lamenting him.

Now JEM has admit the defeat and wait for 20 years to recover to fight. The worn out rebel movement has fought losing battle in South Sudan in favour of the ruling SPA/M without military plan. It only used to attack, loot or rape women to ensure the flow of support by South Sudan government.

Even JEM troops have become frustrated from orders given by the South Sudanese commanders who pushed to them to civil war which they have nothing to do with.

Sorry this is the wrong forum to be posting in. America has an overwhelming number of xenophobes and racists. There are good people too, but they're fighting to survive.

I suggest you look elsewhere for a decent discussion on the Sudan.

they aren't interested in conversation on Sudan; it is a bot that posts the same copy and paste news on numerous forums and never responds to the thread. It is a general pro-Sudanese government propaganda bit. I'm frankly a little surprised that it hasn't been identified yet and banned for spam.
