Are you really that uninformed? Prices are set by consumers. Anybody that over prices, WILL be undercut by the other producers to gain marketshare. Your synopsis is not only ridiculous, it is dangerous.

Most of us have no use for very rich corporations, or businesses. And yet, the market FORCES them to act correctly, unless they have a monopoly.

Your take is crazy. Pressure by consumers, would cause the cost/price to drop, especially if they could no longer afford the products which they are trying to sell. Perfect example is, TELEVISIONS, high speed internet, etc.

I do not know what you are smoking, but whatever it is, I know a whole lot of college students would like access to it for the weekend!

This is not funny to me. The younger people will have to make the decisions and they are not happy campers. We were warned about the Great Society as it was written. That doesn't take into account artificial controls put in place by Socialists in our government.
Usually companies could go out and find whatever they needed to make their products.....but ByeDumb has put in place ridiculous fees for raw material production. Added costs for waste materials.

Prices are set by the volume of people...

A million people will consume a particular volume of mean on a weekly basis...

Prices are high because the cattle are plentiful but there's flat out not enough people to process the beef. The cost of raising beef is not really reflected in the retail price but in the demand the retail price is reflected.

Currently the feed lots are backed up and the cattle are cheaper coming off the feed lots vs the price going into the feedlots.

Long term I agree. Short term barriers to entry slow the supply increase and therefore profit taking is possible.
