I've predicted for a long time that if Trump winning the nomination becomes too likely the republican establishment will bring out the knives. They better not wait too long. This attack in San Bernardino only increases the fear level in America and Trump's popularity feeds on that fear. Fascism appealed to the fearful in 30's Europe. Trump's xenophobic rhetoric has the same kind of appeal and Kasich isn't the only candidate to recognize this, he's just the only one so far with the guts to even hint at it. Trump has them cowered individually. The republicans may have to form a "coalition of the willing" to stop Trump. This is from the Wall St. Journal;
