John McCain Shoots Down Obama Impeachment Question At Town Hall

We should impeach both their asses

Poor Steph...it must be painful waking each morning knowing that Obama will be your President for the next four years. I know it is a daily struggle.

well I guess it's as painful as you waking each morining knowing Bush was President
good grief

Not as painful for me as the thousands of soldiers he got killed in Iraq FOR NO GOOD REASON.

.

Apparently, impeaching a Democrat President in office is a recurring conservative wet dream.

Obama just got slapped by the courts for his recess appointment..so would shitting on constitution be grounds for impeachment...but that constitution is so outdated according to Obama

Listen carefully to some of these people.

They sound grossly misinformed.

Why are they misinformed?

Because the GOP has constructed one of he most powerful echo chambers in human history. It started when they needed to break the New Deal coalition in the late 50s; and it accelerated in the 70s. They created an airtight system for channelling corporate profits into building a think tank and media universe for the purpose of capturing the low-information voter. -they spend billions convincing voters that their nation is under siege by an "external", anti-American force (-every day they scare people with warnings about socialists, marxists, communists, terrorists, gays, liberals, secularists, atheists, bra burners, multiculturalists, relativists, the Clintons, Obama). This is exactly what Hitler did. He said that the Real Germany (its religion, language, borders and traditions) had been infiltrated by Jews. Specifically, he claimed that under the Liberal Weimar regime there was too much Liberal tolerance for Jews and other outsiders. As a result, Mother Germany was being eroded from the inside - indeed, her institutions had been captured and it was time for everyday Germans to rise up and take their country back.

You have to hand it the American Rightwing. They executed Hitler's ideology of Revanchism brilliantly.

They used messianic nationalism to a "T" - "you must save our nation from being destroyed; it is the last beacon of freedom and civilization!"

Guess where they get the money to broadcast this ideology into the homes of the stupid? They get it from the ultra wealthy who have decimated American Labor because they can get their goods made cheaper in Communist China. Where do you think our largest retailer - and one of the biggest contributors to the GOP - gets most of its goods manufactured? Answer: communist China.

It's a fucking hoax.

These mega-corporations that have taken over the GOP and large sections of the media don't care about this country. They have looted it. They benefit from Pentagon support of their overseas supply chains; they benefit from this country's modern industrial infrastructure; they benefit from endless subsidies and bailouts - yet, they keep most of their money offshore, and get most of their labor from dictator-run freedom-hating nations.

It's a fucking hoax, but it works because they've convinced enough stupid people to believe it.

man so much spew that said absolutely nothing..the gop, the right wing and waaa waaa waa
you should look at your own parties and country, not pretty

Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) defended President Barack Obama at a Phoenix town hall Wednesday when a constituent asked him why Congress had not impeached the president.

"I do not believe that the President has committed impeachable offenses -- that's high crimes," McCain said in response to a woman named Angelica. While McCain received scattered applause for his answer, Angelica received significantly more cheers from the audience for her question.

"But I would remind you, and I hate to remind you, I really dislike reminding you -- the president just was reelected by a majority of the American people," he added.

It was a strangely familiar position for McCain, who, during the 2008 presidential election, famously defended then-candidate Obama at a town hall when a questioner said the Democratic candidate was "an Arab."

Over four years later, McCain is still dealing with conspiracy theories. One of the last people to ask McCain a question on Wednesday asserted that Obama won elections "because of voter fraud."

Wow! There are some serious dumb shits in that video. There's even a rube who repeats the Washington Times' bullshit rumor about General Ham being fired for ignoring a stand down order.

The one who asked why Obama wasn't impeached cracked me up with her comment about Nixon being impeached.

Low information voter.

McCain graduated 5th from the bottom from the Naval Academy out of 899 graduates. Let me say that again. 5TH FROM THE BOTTOM OUT OF 899.

Does anyone remember looking at the worst student in any class they ever took anywhere and saying, "Wow, that guy would make a great president or Senator"?

Thought so.

Did you hear the woman at the end saying if the Jews and Poles and others had guns, the Nazi's never would have taken over? I don't think we have to worry about that here. With their record on minorities, the only group, at this time, we need to be afraid of are the Republicans.
