It's common/old/long-declassified knowledge that Saddam Hussein moved his WMD to Syria. Anyone who does not know that by now should not even be discussing the topic. Do your homework. Idiots...
So you have supporting evidence for it then yeah?
why is it such a novel idea to be able to support your position when asked for a source?
How many links do you need ?
Iraq's WMDs: The Russian connection
Right, but there was no field evidence of that. Our own investigation into the matter via the Iraq Survey Group found that it was unlikely that such official transfers took place. I am familiar with the interviews of people suggesting it as a possibility, but we never found physical supporting evidence of such claims in the entire decade we've been there.
Furthermore, Syria and Iraq didn't like each other, hell Assad even channeled money into Islamist terrorist groups fighting Sadaam. An official transfer of WMD, while a formerly popular suggestion to cover up the fact that the US was simply wrong about it, wasn't very politically likely. Why give weapons of mass destruction to an enemy? It never made much political sense which is why it isn't surprising that the physical evidence of such theories never materialized.
Do you have proof involving physical evidence of such transfers?
