"Journalists" phone records seized in intelligence leak probe

[l']Ex-Senate Aide Charged in Leak Case Where Times Reporter’s Records Were Seized[/URL]

Its all fun and games until snitches and traitors start getting prosecuted. :)
wtf? Who but imbeciles and people with defective brains would celebrate this: "A prosecutor notified Ms. Watkins on Feb. 13 that the Justice Department had years of customer records and subscriber information from telecommunications companies, including Google and Verizon, for two email accounts and a phone number of hers. Investigators did not obtain the content of the messages themselves. The Times learned on Thursday of the letter, which came from the national security division of the United States attorney’s office in Washington."

The day Americans celebrate that kind of intrusion by government, is the day we've lost true freedom. Going after leakers and the media, as a political weapon is antithetical to everything America has been founded upon.

And this is terrible "prosecutors under the Trump administration will continue the aggressive tactics employed under President Barack Obama." We now have major politicians on all sides wanting everything to be kept under wraps. We the people shall not know what is going on in our name

When it's a liberal or Democratic president would Marion Morrison and Odium celebrate? This seriously terrible. It is getting worse with each successive president

Excuse me little one, the leaked information is being used as a political weapon, not for general oversight of the press. When leakers and press pick sides they can expect to get bloodied.

They're not attacking the messenger, they're going after the people communicating with them illegally.

you're attacking the messenger as a way of filling a reply with something that I guess you believe sounds worthy of analysis

"The former aide, James A. Wolfe, 57, was charged with lying repeatedly to investigators about his contacts with three reporters." That is not what I get from your comment. Are you sleepy, spinning, or just plain stuck-on-stupid? People do not have to be stupid, to be stuck on it

"It appeared that the F.B.I. was investigating how Ms. Watkins learned that Russian spies in 2013 had tried to recruit Carter Page, a former Trump foreign policy adviser."

Explains why some people are trying to cover up for Carter Page and the Trump campaign, by attacking leaks about terrible behavior on the part of Trump campaign people

What is amusing is I get this truth from the Texas person's own links :21:
