That, in and of itself, won't destroy democracy. But the fallout will.

Both parties have been playing the lesser-of-two-evils game for so long, it's all they know. They're convinced all they have to do is demonize the opposition to win. In the process, we all lose.

Democracy is still one of the games with people being under control while having the illusion they have control. But the way things are going, with this two party system persisting, democracy will be over not far off. May God help us.
