Huh? What does that have to do with investing in the capitalist system, and making money off of profitable companies? The long-range view is without fail, and stocks have averaged 10% a year.

They should take all the money they earn via their overpaid, unskilled jobs and buy into good, solid companies. Or maybe they’re too lacking in knowledge or ability to do something like that, which just proves again they are lucky to be earning what they are,

I remember I was at a Democrat fund-raiser about 25 years ago (this was when I was still voting Dem), and the people there were bemoaning how teachers were “only paid $70,000” and how could people live on that? (At the time, I was earning $60,000.)

I just did an inflation calculation: that $70,000 is equivalent to $132,000 a year - and for only 10 months of work! Democrats always had such a skewed sense of what a good salary was.

Endless billions spent there, and it did not trickle down past the corrupted unions. A rickety electric system and a primitive water system destroyed during a hurricane due to it. Trump knew it when visiting. There were endless pallets of food and supplies and water sitting on tarmacs for huge amounts of time. We need to become more efficient in fields where we can.

We need to make better use if machinery and technology, but the striking dockworkers are preventing that. Imagine how the hungry people in the hurricane-afflicted areas feel knowing - or if they don’t know now, they soon will - that their supplies were held up because greedy dockworkers weren’t satisfied with $120,000 a year base pay.
