They rejected its cost, but more importantly, they rejected it because they are not willing to sign off on all the OTHER garbage demands made. One of which was federal money to fix the destruction allowed in their own shit-hole backyards. Fuck that. Dems allowed that mess, and can pay to clean it up themselves.

Word was there were a lot of other ludicrous demands, which made it clear that making ANY deal was never really on the table. It was all for appearances, so that they could pretend to deal and then blame Trump later. This failed, as most recognize that Pelosi and Co. were never being genuine and honest in negotiating. McEnany and Trump did a great job of making the people aware.
