And here we see the inner totalitarian of a left wing asshat coming out......it is said that inside of every democrat there is a violent totalitarian screaming to get out, and Kevin Smith let his totalitarian out just a little....

In the movie The Avengers 3, Thanos uses a magical glove to murder half of the population of every planet that exists....just murders them on a Quixote quest to save the Universe from over population.....much like the left wingers in the real world want to do the same thing.....

The left is violent, the left does not see human beings....which is why they can support the things they do...

Infinity War: Kevin Smith Argues Thanos Is Actually A Hero

If Thanos could use those stones to murder all of those people....? Why didn't he use them to fix the problems that would lead to the fake problem of over population?

But leave it to a left winger like Kevin Smith to champion mass murder ......

Kevin Smith is one of about 3 film makers who actually knows comics.....and why would Thanos use the stones to fix problems?....if you know about who he is you would not ask that question...

Really, bro? SMH

Sometimes I wonder how old you are

Fixing the problem how? As I remember the movie, the 'problem' was that an ever-expanding population had limited resources. I don't know if the Infinity Gauntlet of the movie could create new resources the way the comic version could have.

It's funny that you seem to ignore the article when it says that "Smith was most likely just trying to be creative with his choices more than anything," or that "many of the answers were clearly tongue-in-cheek." Instead you jump right to the idea that he wants to "champion mass murder."

You are aware that this is all just fantasy, but perhaps you don't at that. It comes from comic books and some comic book fans, just like trump fans, can't quite differentiate between reality and fantasy.

The movie Thanos is different than the comic Thanos. :)
not much different....

Hugely different! In the Infinity Gauntlet books, Thanos killed half the universe to please Death. In the movie, he was trying to help end suffering. The characters were very, very different in their motivations.

It's funny to see people that don't know shit about comic books complain about them and the stories.

It's actually not even the same story as in the comic book series it is based off of. They changed it in order to make Thanos a more relate-able character to a wider audience. Thanos originally wants to kill half the universe in order to impress "Death," who is portrayed by a real woman.

It is different. One is based on a selfish reason, while the other is based on a misguided view of helping the universe.

The idea of getting rid of part of the population in order to save humanity isn't new. It's what is on the Georgia Guide stones.

And it was actually Nebula that wrested control of the gauntlet and set everything back to before Thanos killed everyone else. No doubt they are leaving Adam Warlock out who ended up as the pivotal character. That's what I hate about these movies. It also included Galactus, the Stranger, Celestial's, Eternity/Infinity, Lord Chaos and Master Order, etc.

Well they couldn't go with the original story because Disney/Marvel didn't own the rights to all the characters they needed at the time. Now it is too late to change that.

Sadly with the James Gunn firing, we have no idea if or even when Adam Warlock will show up in the MCU if they don't use Gunn's script. Even if Warlock is in the movie, he wouldn't be the same, as he, not Vision had the mind stone.

You are totally ignoring the entire premise. Either the entire population of the universe can die eventually, as those did on Titan where Thanos is from, OR half of the universe can die in order for the rest to survive. This is no different than the idea that certain diseases or global threats help to back down the explosion of population growth, like what happened during the Black Plague (killed 30-50% of Europe's population). The only difference is that the Black Plague was born from nature due to the number of people living in their own filth, rather than through something intentional.

In anthropology there is a term called Carrying Capacity. It basically refers to the number of people (organisms) that can continue to live on the resources of a specific area. With the rate of population growth the world is at now, and with the finite amount of resources, it won't happen in our lifetime, but either there will be another eventual natural correction of population, or something more catastrophic will occur.

Wrong.. ...... how about he uses the power of the gauntlet to find the tech they need to over come the problem.....and the truth, it isn't a problem, it isn't even a problem now, on earth.....as populations become wealthy, they have fewer children....if he used the gauntlet to advance their technology and science he would have solved the problem...

This is another left wing problem that does not exist, and anyone who supports this mythical mass murder really needs help...
