ABC reported that "officers responded to a report of someone shot in the parking area, and when they arrived at the scene, a suspect opened fire on them."

Media outlets captured footage of a shirtless man as he was calmly walked out of the King Soopers grocery store in handcuffs. His right leg — from his knee down to his foot — was covered in what looked like blood. He was taken away in an ambulance.

Law enforcement personnel said Monday that police had the suspect in custody and there was no further danger to the public.

The suspect, Luke Alvin Oeltjenbruns, refused to wear a mask at a home improvement store in Hutchinson, Minnesota. He then hit an employee with a piece of lumber and fled the scene. The police were called and caught up with Oeltjenbruns in a mall parking lot moments later.

The Hutchinson PD claimed as Oeltjenbruns tried to flee the scene yet again, he hit an officer with a hammer and took off at a high rate of speed while the officer held on to the driver’s side of the vehicle. Officer Steven Sickmann, a 31-year veteran of the Hutchinson Police Department, was taken to the hospital but is now in stable condition while recovering at home.

You are just looking for an excuse to deny truth. The man was stopped. He proceeded to fight police, he was resisting. At that point many blacks have been shot and killed.

Then we have the guy in florida who murdered 4 people, so he was a public threat. So he shoots at police, fights them but does not get shot. Now, nobody is asking for guns to be blazing, but the difference in treatment must be questioned and it is apparent race played a role in these out comes. Florida is a state where citizens can kill another of if they think they are in danger, yet police can't shoot a man who has killed 4 people. Suddenly they don't 'feel threatened by a man with 4 kills, but a black teenage running away from them, well that's a threat.
