Korea 'Potential Target' for IS Terror Attack
The National Intelligence Service believes Korea is a potential target of terrorist attacks by Islamic State, the group now controlling vast swathes of Iraq and Syria, and has called on the government to deal with the threat.
An NIS official said on Thursday, "We cannot rule out that IS or other groups supporting it could target this country since it's cooperating with the U.S.' anti-terrorism efforts."
